LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:05 P.M.

NV Energy reports about 1,400 customers were without power in the area of Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road due to damaged equipment. The energy company said it expects to have power restored by 11:30 p.m.

8:40 P.M.

Las Vegas fire crews responded to a house fire in the 3200 block of Cresent Run Court, near Fort Apache and Desert Inn Roads. The blaze was outside of the home and also invovled a room, according to officials. The cause was under investigation with no injuries reported.

12:10 P.M.

Henderson police report a fatal motorcycle crash occurred at the intersection of Basic Road & and Haynes Drive. The motorcycle collided with an RTC bus, according to police. The motorcyclist died in the collision and one bus passenger suffered minor injuries.
