The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:10 P.M.
LVMPD says the person barricaded in a residence was just taken into custody by SWAT officers without incident. Roads in the area will be open shortly. Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are being determined.

6:35 P.M.
LVMPD says they are working on a domestic violence-related barricade situation in the 3900 block of Lighthouse Avenue near Honolulu Street and Bonanza Road. The family members are safe and there is a lone armed suspect in the residence. SWAT has been requested and is en route.
