LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

4:30 P.M.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Missing Persons Detail was asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult, Nancy Gillie, who is 76 years old.

Gillie was able to be safely located on Jan. 28 after she was last seen in the area of Sahara Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard wearing blue jeans, a grey sweater with SIU MOM, a red jacket and white tennis shoes.

3:43 P.M.
Police and fire crews are responding to a serious crash near Warm Springs Road and Valle Verde Drive in Henderson. Eastbound Warm Strings west of Valle Verde will be shut down for about an hour, police say.

According to Henderson Police Department, a car speeding eastbound on Warm Springs rear-ended a passenger van, then the van hit a center median and a tree.

The driver of the car was not injured, police say. Two passengers of the van were transported to a nearby hospital, one listed in critical condition and the other one has unknown injuries at this time.

The department says all drivers involved are adults. Other details regarding the drivers have not yet been released.

Speed was, and impairment is suspected of being, factors in the crash, HPD says. The investigation remains ongoing.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M.
Las Vegas police report a series of armed carjackings was brought to a peaceful end in the 7600 block of Little Valley Avenue, near Buffalo Drive and Flamingo Road, with multiple people in custody.

12:25 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a stolen car incident in the 7600 block of Little Valley Avenue, near Buffalo Drive and Flamingo Road. Viewers have informed 13 Action News about a heavy police presence in the area and authorities say they are searching for the people involved.
