The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:23 P.M.
Las Vegas police said a man was told to leave a gift shop in the 300 block of Fremont Street and as he was leaving he threatened the employee. About an hour later the man showed up at the store and briefly walked inside before walking out. The employee found a note stating there was a bomb in the store. As a precaution Fremont Street was closed from Main Street to 3rd Street while a K9 bomb detector dog cleared the area. There was nothing found and Fremont Street was reopened and has returned to normal business.

5:58 P.M.
Las Vegas police are on the scene near Wynn and Viking Roads where they say US Marshals were involved in a shooting. Please avoid the area. This is a developing story.

Arville Street is closed in both directions just after Flamingo Road.

2:24 P.M.
The Red Cross is assistance one displaced adult after a house fire on 6401 Cosmo Lane near Lone Mountain Road and Jones Boulevard. Las Vegas firefighters say the cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation. No injuries to report.

UPDATE 10:57 A.M.
Las Vegas police say the barricade is over on Langtry Drive and nobody was brought into custody. The investigation remains ongoing.

8:40 A.M.
Las Vegas police are currently on the scene of a barricade situation on Langtry Drive near Washington Avenue and Valley View Boulevard. Police say SWAT and Crisis Negotiators are on the scene as well. Traffic is blocked off on Snead Drive and Chabot Drive. Check back for updates.
