The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
11:35 P.M.
UPDATE JAN. 26: The Clark County Coroner has identified the deceased man as 37-year-old Julio Rendon Fermin from Las Vegas. Rendon's cause of death was blunt force injuries and it was ruled an accident.
The North Las Vegas Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision near East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Bassler Street. A white Toyota Corolla struck a pole and the 37-year-old driver was killed. Police say their investigation remains ongoing.
8 P.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire departments are on the scene of a crash near Spring Mountain and Decatur Boulevard.
Westbound Spring Mountain is currently closed at the intersection. Avoid the area.
