The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:37 P.M.
Police report a fatal motorcycle collision occurred on West Deer Springs Way, near North Durango Drive. A Dodge Journey made a U-turn and crossed into the path of a Superbike traveling westbound on West Deer Springs Way. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on­scene with the Dodge driver transported to UMC for further medical treatment.

The motorcyclist was later identified by the coroner as 29-year-old Johnathan Bell from Las Vegas, Cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma from an accident.

6:20 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near University Center Drive and East Flamingo Road. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where they passed away from their injuries. Several roads in the immediate area were closed for several hours, including eastbound Flamingo from Swenson Avenue.

The pedestrian was later identified by the Clark County coroner as 70-year-old Kathryn Anne Delling from Las Vegas.

1:59 P.M.
Las Vegas police were working a shooting in the 3800 block of Harris Avenue, near Pecos Road and Washington Avenue. Authorities initially reported one person was detained with Desert Pines High School on lockdown. Officers later updated the incident with no one in custody, no reports of injuries with the lockdown lifted at the school a short time later as the incident happened off-campus.

2:51 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire shortly before 3 a.m. at a CBD oil manufacturing business on East Patrick Lane. One employee was burned, condition unknown.
