The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

4:50 P.M.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a 2-alarm fire on West Cactus Avenue, west of Dean Martin Drive. Multiple units were called to the scene with initial reports stating the fire started in a single-story home. No injuries were reported in the blaze once crews were able to extinguish the flames.

4:03 P.M.
Police responded to a reported shooting in the 5900 block of Via Aquario Drive, near Tropicana Avenue and Boulder Highway. A man was shot while selling property he had through an online sales app, according to police. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries without word of any immediate arrests.

7:38 A.M.
Lindell Road is currently closed in both directions between O'Bannon Drive and Sahara Avenue because of a suspicious package. UPDATE: The package has been deemed not to be a threat.

4:11 A.M.
Nevada Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal wrong-way crash in the northbound lanes of the Airport Connector near the 215. Expect major delays. Seek alternate routes. FULL STORY.

2:49 A.M.

UPDATE 2/12/20:
The Clark County Coroner has identified the man whose body was found after the fire as 60-year-old Juan Rene Huerta-Hernandez from Las Vegas. The cause of death is still pending.

A person is dead after a fire early this morning on Lincoln Road (Carey Avenue and Lamb Boulevard), according to Clark County Fire Department. The fire was in a shed behind a house. Firefighters were able to prevent it from extending 4:to the house and it was knocked down at 3:59 a.m. A deceased person was found in a shed.
