Clark County Fire Department is responding to a 2-alarm apartment fire in the 600 block of Royal Crest Circle. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue is assisting with fighting the fire.
4:24P.M.
CCSD Police confirmed today that they arrested a 16-year-old on Wednesday evening for threatening to shoot up a school. READ MORE.
12:16 P.M.
A cat died in an apparent squatter fire in a vacant duplex unit at 4905 Danbrook Court, near Charleston and Nellis boulevards. Damages were estimated at $35,000. No injuries were reported to residents or responders.

6 A.M.
A crash on the U.S. 95 at Boulder Highway caused traffic to backup as far as Eastern Avenue.
OVERNIGHT:
Patrol officers tried to stop a 2005 Mercedes-Benz in the 5200 block of Trango Lane near Nellis Boulevard and Bonanza Lane.
The driver didn't stop for police and continued to speed before crashing at the intersection of Betty Lane and Harris Avenue. As officers pulled up on the scene of the crash, the driver accelerated forward and hit the patrol car. The driver tried to back away but his car wouldn't work after the collision. At that point, officers took the driver into custody.
No officers were injured during the incident.
