Three schools in Henderson were on lockdown due to a man target practicing with a pellet gun in a desert area near Sunset Road and Valle Verde Drive. Police were still investigating the situation with no injuries reported. However, the nearby schools affected were Thurman White Middle School, Jim Thorpe and Harriet Treem Elementary Schools.
