LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:15 P.M.

UPDATE: NV Energy reports that the power outage was weather-related. They restored 7,700 customers at 8:50 p.m. The affected customers were without power for an hour and five minutes.

8:45 P.M.

NV Energy reports that over 10,000 people around the valley are without power. Most of the outages are occurring in the 89103 and 89120 zip codes. NV Energy says it's due to damage to equipment and estimates time of restoration between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

1:40 P.M.

Henderson Police officials report that several pedestrians were struck at the intersection of East Lake Mead Parkway and North Boulder Highway following a police pursuit. The number of pedestrians struck and their conditions are unknown at the time but the injured were transported to Sunrise Hospital. Traffic in all directions has been shut down and commuters are encouraged to find other routes.
