Las Vegas police say that Peggy Egan has been located safely.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the Quinn Apartments, 5500 Mountain Vista Street, Building 15. Based on the amount of smoke and fire, a second alarm was requested. Around 8:25 p.m., crews reported that there was a primary all clear in the building, indicating that there were no injuries associated with this fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and will be investigated in an attempt to determine the origin.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Missing Persons Detail is asking for the public's assistance in locating Peggy Egan. She may be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance. She was last seen around 3 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, near Tropicana Avenue. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a rainbow strip, blue jeans and pink and white shoes. Las Vegas police say there was a three vehicle crash at Roy Horn Way and Sunset Road. One of the vehicles involved was a police patrol vehicle. The officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a driver from one of the other vehicles was transported with a claimed injury as well. Impairment is not a factor.
