Las Vegas breaking news for December 25, 2018

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:45 P.M.

Guests at the Wynn Las Vegas were briefly evacuated on Dec. 25 because of smoke in a kitchen. Police say there was never an emergency though and the fire department was not dispatched.

2 P.M.

Heavy traffic reported in southbound lanes of I-215 near Primm.

2:30 A.M.

A man entered a 7-Eleven at 5085 S. Eastern Ave. and walked out without paying for beer. The store clerk followed the man outside and the man pulled out a gun. The clerk went back into the store where he heard a gunshot. The suspect was last seen headed west on Reno. No injuries reported.

OVERNIGHT

A man was allegedly stabbed in the neck by the mother of his child during an argument during a child swap around 11:30 p.m. Dec. 24 at 4075 S. Buffalo Drive. The man was transported to hospital in critical condition. The woman has not been arrested.
