1 P.M.
A driver of a Toyota Prius may have a medical episode prior to a crash around 7:20 a.m. near Burnham Avenue and Charleston Boulevard. Police said the vehicle hit a wall on Charleston Boulevard. A nurse who called the crash into police gave CPR to the victim until medical personnel arrived. The 73-year-old driver was transported to University Medical Center where he died.
11:27 A.M.
Las Vegas police confirmed a crash around 5:46 a.m. near Durango Drive and Oakey Boulevard is fatal. A 25-year-old man was transported to University Medical Center where he died of his injuries. Police said the man was driving a Dodge Charger southbound on Durango when the vehicle started going into the northbound lanes when it was hit by a Chevrolet Express van. The driver of the Chevrolet remained on scene and did not show signs of impairment.
