LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

4:25 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue put out a fire at a house located at 8215 Mt. Brodie Cir. It took firefighters less than 10 minutes to bring the fire under control. Firefighters confined the fire to the garage. Damage is estimated at $25,000. The department says the cause of the fire is accidental. The occupants advised firefighters that they believe a candle left burning in the garage was the cause. There were no reported injuries during the incident.

3:25 A.M.
UPDATE DEC. 7: The Clark County Coroner has identified the decedent as 46-year-old Anthony LaCorte. LaCorte's cause of death was blunt force head injuries and it was ruled an accident.

The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on the US-95 southbound/Flamingo off-ramp. A blue Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling from SB US-95 onto the Flamingo off-ramp at a high rate of speed. The rider failed to negotiate the curve and the motorcycle went off the roadway. The man died at UMC with the crash remaining under investigation.
