LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
3 P.M.
Las Vegas police responded to reports of a suspicious call related to a person in front of the Bellagio hotel-casino. A significant police presence was seen due to New Year's Eve security. Officers made contact with the person in the valet. They were checking this person's mental stability.
12:26 P.M.
One person shot near D Street and Jefferson. Police say person was shot in hip. No arrests have been made. Police are searching for suspect. Roads may be closed in area.
6 A.M.
Henderson Fire Department is on the scene of a fire on Magnesium Street near Lake Mead Parkway and West Van Wagenen Street.
