The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:50 P.M.

UPDATE: The coroner has identified both victims as 33-year-old Brandy Marie Mitchell and 23-year-old Kevon La'Shay Jackson.

Las Vegas police are responding to a deadly crash near Lamb Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. Police say a 2000 GMC Yukon was traveling north on Lamb when it left the road, entered a parking lot, and hit a parked semi truck trailer. The driver and passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene. These fatalities mark the 113th and 114th traffic-related fatalities for Las Vegas. Neither person has been identified at this time.

UPDATE 6:37 P.M.
Road closures remain in effect in northwest Las Vegas after a deadly crash near West Tropical Pkwy and Torrey Pines. Police say two vehicles crashed in the intersection and a 53-year-old woman was transported to UMC where she was pronounced dead. Police say a 2001 Mercedes-Benz was driving on the unimproved shoulder at an excessive speed when the driver lost control when attempting to reenter westbound travel lane. The Mercedes hit a 2006 Toyota Camry. The driver of the Toyota was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Mercedes, identified as 61-year-old Marsha Stewart Byrd, was arrested and is booked into Clark County Detention Center for driving under the influence and reckless driving. The driver's death marks the 112th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas.

6 P.M.
Expect delays traveling on the Interstate 15 in both directions between the US-95 and Flamingo Road. The slowest traffic is currently moving southbound near Charleston Boulevard.

UPDATE 5:25 P.M.
Firefighters say it was a close call tonight as a roof collapsed on crews while they were battling the apartment fire near Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road. Nobody was hurt. READ MORE

Las Vegas police are on the scene of a deadly crash near West Tropical Parkway and North Torrey Pines Drive. Traffic is shut down in all directions.

Police say to avoid:
Fannie Way/ W. Tropical Pkwy.
N. Torrey Pines Dr./Bullring Ln.
Mustang St. /Tropical Pkwy.

UPDATE 4:42 P.M.
Clark County Fire Department says a 2-alarm fire near Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road is under control and has been knocked down. Crews remain on the scene checking for hotspots. The department says there was a partial roof collapse in the building but no injuries to report. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The American Red Cross is working with officials to help approximately 30 people who have been displaced.

3:36 P.M.
Clark County Fire Department is on the scene of a 2-alarm fire near Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road. Firefighters observed smoke emanating from the eaves of a 2-story apartment building upon arrival. All occupants of the building have been safely evacuated. it's unknown at this time how many apartments have been affected. NV Energy and Southwest Gas have been notified to assist with utilities.
