The Nye County Sheriff's Office says deputies are on the scene of an active shooting situation in the 3200 block of Kings Way in Pahrump. Residents were advised to avoid the area.

There is a heavy police presence near Buffalo Drive and Warm Springs Road.
5:30 A.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting near Bonanza Road and Lamb Boulevard, where authorities say two people were shot. No word yet on their condition or whether any arrests have been made.
