2:37 P.M.
Kyle Canyon Road is currently open. However, traffic is moving very slowly. The Nevada Department of Transportation says that State Route 158 or Deer Creek Road was closed. READ MORE

1:15 P.M.
Kyle Canyon Road to Mount Charleston has been closed due to heavy visitor traffic. Las Vegas police are asking visitors to avoid the area at this time and to expect traffic delays.


3 A.M.
A man got stuck in a tree overnight while trying to rescue a cat. The incident happened near Eastern and Sahara avenues. He was in the tree for about an hour and a half before being rescued by firefighters. The cat was also removed.
