LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 7 P.M.:
RTC is confirming a serious injury crash on Interstate 15 at the US 95 involving several vehicles including a motorcycle. 3 lanes are closed. Expect delays.

4:43 P.M.
RTC is reporting a crash on Interstate 15 northbound at US-95 Ramps. Freeway 2 center lanes blocked. Expect delays.

4:30 P.M.
RTC is reporting a crash on Interstate 15 northbound at Charleston Boulevard. Freeway 2 left and 1 HOV lanes blocked. Expect delays.

10:45 A.M.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian on WB Lake Mead Blvd. near the I-15 with road closures in place.

5:30 A.M.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash near the I-15 northbound on-ramp at Sahara Avenue that involved a pedestrian. A person stepped in front of traffic and was struck by several vehicles and died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. READ UPDATE

UPDATE: LVMPD says a suspect has been detained, no other information has been made available at this time. READ UPDATE

12:30 A.M.
Las Vegas police were called to reports of a shooting in the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue, near Eastern Avenue and US-95. Officers were conducting an investigation at the scene when someone shot towards them and an officer returned fire. The shooter was not located after police searched a nearby apartment complex and no injuries were reported.
