This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for April 28, 2018.

6:27 P.M.

A vehicle and a bicyclist collided near Indios Avenue and Mountain Vista Street around 5:19 p.m. The intersection is closed down as police investigate the scene. The bicyclist was critically injured. 

Correction: Police previously told 13 Action News that the bicyclist died in the crash, but the bicyclist is still alive. Law enforcement officials say there was a miscommunication.

4:47 P.M.

Las Vegas police are at the scene of a barricade situation near Owens Avenue and Lamb Boulevard. Officials say it started after a vehicle was stolen near the area. Lamb Boulevard is closed from Owens Avenue to Kell Lane.

12:41 P.M.

Police now say that there was no shooting at the Smith's near Nellis Boulevard and Sahara Avenue. Two juveniles threw a rock at a vehicle, which a citizen mistook as a shooting.

12:27 P.M.

Las Vegas police are currently investigating a possible shooting that took place outside a Smith's grocery store near Nellis Boulevard and Sahara Avenue around noon. There are no reports of any injuries and police have two people detained related to the incident.
