This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for April 27, 2018.

9:50 P.M.

Las Vegas police found a woman dead in the 7100 block of Dramatic Way near U.S. 95 and West Ann Road. A man was also found shot and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. Homicide detectives are investigating. 

6:09 P.M.

New details were released about the fatal crash on U.S. 95 near Ann Road.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says around 3:57 p.m. a Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a Toyota Camry.

The 56-year-old female driver of the Toyota had to be mechanically extricated from the vehicle. She eventually succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

NHP says the male driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening. 

All southbound travel lanes are expected to be closed for about 2 hours.

5 P.M.

A fatal crash has been reported on U.S. 95 southbound near Ann Road. The southbound lanes are closed according to Nevada DOT. Motorists can expect delays. It appears two vehicles were involved in the collision. No other details are available at this time. 

4:36 P.M.

A Clark County School District school bus was involved in a 3-car crash near Rancho Drive and Washington Avenue. No students were on board. Minor injuries were reported.

10:27 A.M.

Officers are attending to a barricade situation at 302 Linn Lane, near Charleston Boulevard and Christy Lane.

Neighbors say a woman who appeared batter exited an apartment and asked for someone to call the police. She then returned inside the apartment and officers are currently trying to get her out.

Police aren't aware of anyone else inside of the apartment at this time.

Residents in the area have been evacuated. Officers have arranged for teh residents to wait it out in city bus.

9:45 A.M.

An argument between two people led to one shooting the other. The shooting occurred in the 3800 block of Jontue Street, near Lamb Boulevard and Alexander Road.

Police say the person shot has been transported to University Medical Center and their condition is currently unknown. The shooter fled the scene after the incident and has not been located.

8:03 A.M.

Lanes are closed on westbound 215 Beltway at Rainbow Boulevard due to a vehicle fire. The fire was reported at 7:48 a.m. Clark County Fire Department is on scene extinguishing the fire.

6:20 A.M.

A body was found in the street near Washington Avenue and D street.
