7:28 A.M.
Las Vegas firefighters responded to a fire in a closet in a vacant house at 2320 Canosa Avenue, near Eastern and St. Louis avenues. Cause is unknown, no injuries to report.

7:15 A.M.
Las Vegas firefighters responded to a fire at Critter Care Grooming. Cause is unknown and there are no reported injuries.

OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police say authorities are investigating a homicide in the valley overnight near Tropicana/Fort Apache. There is not much information regarding the incident at this time. Check back for more information. READ MORE

Editor's Note: A previous message from authorities said there were two separate homicides overnight, however that note was from March. Officers are investigating one shooting this morning. Details below.
