3:40 P.M.

Henderson police are investigating a male body found inside a trailer in the 1800 block of Ward Drive, near Boulder Highway and Sunset Road. An anonymous caller had reached out to police about the body, which police were unable to find until 11:30 a.m. They are treating it as a suspicious death.  READ MORE

1:34 A.M.

A person was severely burned in a fire at 6740 W. Flamingo Road, near Rainbow Boulevard. Personnel reported flame and smoke showing from an exterior fire next to a commercial structure. Crews made an offensive attack and knocked the fire down in about 2 minutes. Personnel were able to prevent the fire from extending to the building. Firefighters found a patient that was severely burned from the fire, and the patient was immediately transported to University Medical Center in critical condition. The fire is under investigation. Damages to the exterior paint was estimated at $1,000.
