The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
OVERNIGHT
Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly rollover crash on Interstate 15 near Speedway Boulevard shortly after 8 p.m. on April 14. Troopers say for unknown reasons a 2001 Honda Accord traveling southbound on I-15 entered the unpaved median and overturned. The man driving was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, authorities say. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner's office will report the man's identity following next of kin notification. This crash marks the 12th deadly crash in Nevada Highway Patrol – Southern Command’s jurisdiction for 2020.
