The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:25 P.M.
A police union representative confirms that Henderson Police Chief LaTesha Watson has been fired. READ MORE

5:57 A.M.
A rollover crash on the I-15 near Sahara Avenue between (Sahara Avenue and Desert Inn Road) is causing slow moving traffic on the southbound lanes. Plan for extra time if this is on your morning commute, traffic is backed up almost to the Spaghetti Bowl. Injuries are unknown at this time.

1:35 A.M.
Two people were displaced and a pregnant woman was brought to the hospital for observation after an apartment fire near the US-95 and Rainbow Boulevard.

When firefighters arrived they found a fire on the patio of a second floor apartment. Crews were able to keep the fire contained to the patio. Damage is estimated at $20,000. One person was treated for minor smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
