LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:45 P.M.
Las Vegas Valley Water District says there has been a water main break near West Flamingo Road and South Valley View Boulevard that is affecting several properties. The break was caused by a contractor that hit a water line. Water should be restored by 5 p.m. tomorrow at the latest.

6:30 P.M.
Henderson firefighters responded to a garage fire near South Boulder Highway and South Magic Way. There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.

5:00 P.M.
Fire crews are working to put out a brush fire near the corner of E. Sunset Road and Spencer Street. Avoid the area

11:30 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department responded to reports of a car fire at the terminal 3 parking garage at McCarran Airport. One car caught fire and 6 others were damaged in the blaze. No reports of injuries. The garage was evacuated for a brief time, and is now reopened.

12:29 A.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police report receiving numerous calls of shots fired on the 6400 block of Casada Way, near West Charleston Boulevard and South Torrey Pines Drive. Responding officers discovered a male juvenile deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Metro homicide detectives are investigating. Torrey Pines is closed in both directions in the area. Commuters are advised to avoid the area.
