Nevada Highway Patrol reported the trooper injured has been treated and released from the hospital after the crash near Russell Road and the 215 beltway.

A Nevada Highway Patrol trooper was taken to the hospital after a crash on Russell Road at the 215 beltway in southwest Las Vegas. She has non-life threatening injuries. The other driver involved was not transported.
NHP said the crash occurred when the trooper was heading westbound on Russell Road and making a left turn to get on the 215 beltway. Witnesses said the trooper had a green light and a white car was heading eastbound on Russell when they nearly collided head-on. The trooper was not responding to a call at the time of the crash.
No impairment is suspected.

The construction reporter who fell earlier today is reportedly dead. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown. The Clark County coroner will name the worker after relatives have been notified. READ MORE

A construction worker has fallen at a site near Jonathan Drive and Las Vegas Boulevard, just north of St. Rose Parkway. The condition of the worker is unknown at this time. READ MORE

A crash on the I-15 southbound near Flamingo Road is causing heavy traffic delays for commuters.
Chopper 13 was above the crash and shot video of the sea of cars waiting to get past the scene.

An officer was involved in a shooting around 4 a.m. at University Medical Center. No officers were hurt during the incident and the Emergency Room at UMC remains open despite police activity. READ MORE
