6:25 P.M.

A Henderson firefighter received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the fire at Scottsdale Valley Condos. He was treated at Henderson Hospital before he was released.

No other injuries were reported.

Four adults and one cat were displaced from two units due to fire, smoke and water damage.

An in-unit sprinkler system kept the fire under control under the fire department could arrive. The fire was determined to be electrical in nature and was ruled accidental. The total estimated loss is $95,000.

6 P.M.

Henderson firefighters are battling a fire at a third-story unit at Scottsdale Valley Condos, near Eastern Avenue and Wigwam Parkway. It is unknown how many will be displaced. The cause is under investigation.

4 P.M.

According to North Las Vegas police, the shooting occurred after a road rage incident near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. One driver followed the other to Revere Street and Colton Avenue where both drivers opened fire. One man was hit but is in stable condition. One person has been detained. READ MORE.

North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting near Revere Street and Colton Avenue. One man was sent to the hospital. READ MORE.

5:30 A.M.

A driver died after crashing into the back a Las Vegas police vehicle. The officer's injuries are not life threatening. READ MORE


Several new or under construction homes on the 5400 block of Montgomery View Lane burned overnight near Boulder Highway and Russell Road.
