12:15 A.M.
Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters responded to a carport fire in the 2000 block of South 15th Street, near St. Louis Avenue and Maryland Parkway, at 12:15 a.m.
The firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in 5 minutes. The fire also damaged a bedroom of the house. Damage is estimated at $40,000.
