7:30 P.M.

Castle Hill Avenue fire update: The fire was caused by a barbeque exploding next to the house. Three firefighters were injured, two were treated on scene and the third was taken to the hospital for observation. The house suffered $300,000 in damage. 

6:12 P.M.

Firefighters who battled the fire on Castle Hill Avenue say the fire is knocked down, but the roof of the home is nearly gone. No civilians were injured. One firefighter was taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

5:34 P.M.

An attic caught fire at a home on 8649 Castle Hill Avenue. Firefighters spotted flames going through the roof of the home. This is an active fire. No word yet on injuries.

1:52 P.M.

The Clark County Coroner confirmed that 54-year-old Rick Van Thiel, known for performing medical procedures without a license, is deceased. He was found hanging at the Clark County Detention Center around 11 p.m. Friday. READ MORE.

11:44 A.M.

The body of a woman was recovered in Bunkerville around 7 a.m. Sunday. Officials say it was actually found on Saturday near Butte and Riverside roads, but rescuers were not able to move it until Sunday. No information yet on the cause of death or how the body was found.

11:15 A.M.

The body of an adult female was found in the desert within Lake Mead National Recreation Area on Saturday. READ MORE.
