This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for July 22, 2017.

10:15 P.M.

Seven people were involved in a two-car crash on Lakeshore Road within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The road is closed in both directions. 

The crash occurred near mile marker 4 around 5:30 p.m July 22. The National Park Service, Boulder City Fire Department and Paramedics, Nevada Highway Patrol, Nevada Department of Wildlife, Mercy Air and Community Ambulance responded. Two patients were transported in critical condition. The other five had non life-threatening injuries. 

As of 10 p.m., the road remains closed in both directions. The incident is under investigation. No further details are available at this time. 

6:21 P.M.

Portland police say a missing 17-year-old was reportedly traveling to Las Vegas and may be in danger. READ MORE.

4:51 P.M.

A woman was shot near the 4700 block of Craig Road around 2 p.m. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Preliminary investigations indicate the shooting started as a domestic violence incident.

3:00 P.M.

A two-story apartment building caught fire at 3034 Vegas Drive. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported the fire around 2:26 p.m. and had it out within 15 minutes. The building was evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross is assisting 13 people and 3 pets displaced by the fire.

3:30 A.M.

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. Witnesses say the pedestrian was still breathing when trasported to hospital and the person was not in a crosswalk.
