5 P.M.

More details have been released in a Tuesday morning fatal crash near Alta and Buffalo drives. A 68-year-old woman died as a result of the crash. Police said a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Buffalo when the driver lost control at the S curve. The right front of the Civic hit the left front of a Kia Rio that was traveling southbound on Buffalo. The Kia then rotated across the southbound lanes before it was struck by a Ford E350 cargo van. A passenger of the Kia Rio died as a result of the crash. Witnesses said that a red automobile may have been involved in a speed contest with the Honda before the crash.

11:43 A.M.

Jones Boulevard is now open between the 215 Beltway and Post Road after a gas leak.

11:25 A.M.

The gas is off in the area of Jones Boulevard and Russell Road. Road closures remain as crews make repairs to gas line.

10:45 A.M.

There has been a possible gas line break on a construction site near Jones Boulevard and Sunset Road. Southwest Gas representatives are on scene along with Clark County Fire Department. Nevada Highway Patrol and Las Vegas police are on scene assisting with road closures in the area. Jones Boulevard is closed from the 215 beltway to Russell Road. There is no word as to the cause or how long the closures will be in effect.

8:45 A.M.

One person has died as a result of a crash near Alta and Buffalo Drives. Police said a car jumped a median and drove into oncoming traffic, hitting another vehicle head on. At least three people were taken to UMC Trauma as a result of the crash.

7:45 A.M.

Las Vegas police were on the scene of a crash involving a Clark County School District school bus and a gray minivan near the intersection of North Hualapai Way and Town Center Drive.

None of the 40 students on board were injured.

5:45 A.M.

A truck has crashed into a garage in the area of Grand Teton Drive and Jones Boulevard.

3:30 A.M.

At 8:48 p.m. last night a male met another man who asked to purchase his necklace at a 7-Eleven near Washington Avenue. 

At that time both men walked across the street to 6666 Washington.  Once at the complex, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's necklace.

After receiving the necklace, the suspect shot the victim in the leg.

The suspect fled the scene and has yet to be taken into custody by police officers. and the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

3:25 A.M.

At approximately 8: 39 p.m. last night a witness was outside his apartment at 1100 Morgan Avenue when he heard the sound of an argument followed by 4-5 gunshots.

The witness discovered the adult male victim laying on the ground with 2-3 gunshot wounds. That person called 911.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he was rushed into surgery.

As of this time, police are unsure of the motive for the shooting and no suspects have been located.
