Nevada's Big Give raises nearly $720K

Giving continues with Golden Knights 'Charity Night'

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The 8th annual Nevada's Big Give on March 21 raised nearly $720,000 in 24 hours of giving.

More than 4,000 people donated to almost 300 nonprofits.

Of the participating organizations, SafeNest received the most money raising $75,800 while Community Cat Coalition of Clark County had the most donors with 321.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights also got in on the giving.

The team presented a $10,000 check at the Nevada's Big Give kickoff event at Town Square.

The Knights will do even more giving tomorrow at their first Charity Night when they host the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.

Special merchandise will go on sale at 12 p.m. on March 23 for the event. All proceeds benefit the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
