Officials released video from a trooper’s body camera during the conference of Tuesday’s incident on Mount Charleston.

The NHP said it received a call after a suspect, Richard Henderson, posted suicidal posts on social media.

When officers attempted to make contact with Henderson, he barricaded himself inside his vehicle with a shotgun.

The 23-year-old suspect eventually got out but shot his gun, and that’s when troopers fired back, according to officials.

Henderson was struck and taken to the University Medical Center. He was then released and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
