LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An elderly French woman who lives in the town of Compeigne had no idea the painting in her kitchen (which she thought was a Greek religious icon) was a lost masterpiece by Florentine painter Cimabue.
"Christ Mocked" is expected to fetch about $6.59 million when it goes up for auction.
