A homeless man turned college professor now has the number one children's book on Amazon.
Dr. Micah Johnson wrote the book "Never Had a Friend."
The author says he felt alone and ashamed as a child.
But there were a few people who stuck with him and gave him the strength to never give up, which inspired his book.
Dr. Johnson says he hopes he can inspire Black and brown boys and girls to believe they too can get a PhD become a professor and an author.
He's now working on his second book about law enforcement and the Black community.
