UPDATE: Police officers involved in Citrus Hill Avenue shooting identified

JUNE 24 UPDATE: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers involved in the June 22 officer-involved shooting, which occurred in the 2100 block of Citrus Hills Avenue, are Sgt. Matthew Vorce, Officer Nicholas Gomez, Officer David Pangan, Officer Justin Terry and Officer Gregory Tracy.

Sgt. Vorce is 42 years old and has been employed with the LVMPD since 2002.
Officer Gomez is 26 years old and has been employed with the LVMPD since 2019.
Officer Pangan is 44 years old and has been employed with the LVMPD since 2016.
Officer Terry is 40 years old and has been employed with the LVMPD since 2006.
Officer Tracy is 39 years old and has been employed with the LVMPD since 2008.

All officers are assigned to the Community Policing Division, Bolden Area Command. All officers have been placed on routine paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of this incident.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are on the scene of a shooting involving the department near on Citrus Hill Avenue near Tonopah Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard.

There has been a large police presence in the area for several hours.
