Convicted felon Shane Valentine has been an on-again, off-again person of interest for the 2016 unsolved murder.

Valentine had a connection with the murdered man. He was accused of shooting up the Kaufman family home about 20 days before the double homicide.

Valentine was also accused of attempting to lure the daughter of a judge into prostitution.

Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Melanie Tobiasson also has a connection to the case because she expressed her concerns about Valentine and began her own unauthorized investigation.
