The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Tiffany Mahramus.

Police are calling Mahramus a most wanted person in Las Vegas as she is facing charges for attempted murder and robbery with a deadly weapon dating back to May of 2018.

Police say a man was lured to a location that evening by Mahramus and she, along with an accomplice,  attempted to steal his money.

The man then ran away from the two but was shot in the back and robbed while on the ground wounded.

Metro did not release further details on the specifics of this case.

"There are schemes and scams everywhere," said 13 Action News Crime & Safety expert retired Metro Lt. Randy Sutton.

Sutton said it's best to give up your property when you are being robbed; however, if you feel a threat, you should escape.

Whether you are meeting a stranger to buy a car or go on a date, pick a well-lit public place.

"If you feel that something is wrong, chances are that something is wrong," said Sutton.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Mahramus they were urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
