Storms are not in the forecast across Southern Nevada today, so lightning is not a concern. There is a small (10%) chance for pop-up storms on Thursday.
The good news is that winds will relax by the end of the week, reducing fire danger.
Maximum wind speeds of 25 mph on Thursday will drop to 20 mph Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
