A Las Vegas disabled senior says she was at her wits end after her apartment management told her to move out all of belongings to replace the flooring.

Yzavela Narvaez and her mom Doria say the trouble started last week when the apartment manager made the request.

"My mom is a disabled senior and we don't have anybody to help us move at all, whatsoever," said Yzavela.

Yzavela claims apartment management would not offer any solutions to deal with the situation at first.

"I just don't think it's fair, they're forcing a disabled senior to do this," added Yzavela.

If lugging heavy furniture wasn't bad enough, Yzavela says they have been excellent tenants and the carpet is in great condition.

Contact 13 reached out to the apartment manager for Parkway at Silverado Ranch as well as the regional manager at Fore Properties, the owner of the complex.

Although all attempts to seek comment were not returned, Yzavela says within hours, the regional manager contacted Yzavela and her mother to personally apologize.

They will not be required to move their belongings for the flooring replacement.

"It has just caused so much stress and you have no idea the stress levels that my mom and I have been through," added Yzavela.

Yzavela and Doria are glad they situation is now over and they do not have to move anymore.
