HENDERSON (KTNV) — An investigation is underway after a shooting involving Henderson Police near the 1000 block of Center Street at around 9:43 a.m.
Henderson Police say that they received a call about a man trying to kidnap a woman. According to police, the suspect did know the victim.

When police arrived at the scene, they say they gave several commands to the man, who proceeded to ignore them.
According to police, the man then got into his car and drove towards officers, which resulted in shots being fired by the police.
The suspect was hit and fled the scene. Shortly after, police received a 911 call, and the suspect was transported to the hospital.
The suspect is in critical but stable condition. No officers were injured.
