LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Another fundraiser was held today for Las Vegas police officer Shay Mikalonis.
This was at Open Gym Fitness near Cheyenne Avenue and Hualapai Way.
Officer Mikalonis was shot last month during a black lives matter protest on the Las Vegas Strip leaving him paralyzed from the neck down.

The gym's owner says there was a great turn out and people did workouts to raise money.
Earlier this month Officer Mikalonis was transported to a long-term rehabilitation center out of state.
His uncle previously told 13 Action News he could be there up to a year.
