UPDATE SEPT. 17: The Las Vegas community came together on Tuesday for a memorial skate and vigil in honor of Monet Garcia and her father Mark Garcia. The two were killed in a car crash on Sept. 13. The vigil took place at Sobe Ice Arena at Fiesta Rancho.

Johnathan Smith died in the crash as well. He was riding a motorcycle.

The crash remains under investigation, according to police.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- The Clark County Coroner's office along with family and friends have identified the three people who were killed in a severe crash Friday night.

A motorcycle was speeding, according to witnesses, while traveling on Flamingo Road at about 7:30 p.m. before it crashed into a vehicle that was making a turn at the intersection of Duneville Street and Flamingo Road.

The BMW motorcycle was embedded into the Lexus after the impact of the collision with all occupants pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.

Family and friends later identified the occupants in the car as 12-year-old Monet Garcia and her father, 42-year-old Mark Garcia. The motorcyclist was 28-year-old Johnathan Smith, according to the coroner.

Monet was in the 7th grade at Knudson Middle School. She was a competitive skater with Mark a dedicated businessman within the community, according to a family spokesperson.

The Garcia family said a memorial and vigil are being planned for the two along with an active GoFundMe account in memory of Monet.

Another separate Gofundme account has also been set up to help with the funeral expenses for both Mark and Monet.

Police report the collision remains under investigation.
