Dozens of volunteers work to count Las Vegas' homeless population

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Dozens of volunteers began working early Wednesday morning to count the homeless population in Las Vegas.

The 2020 Homeless Census could help bring millions of dollars to the region to get housing for those in need.

13 Action News Reporter Sean DeLancey spoke with census volunteer Liz Ortenburger, also the CEO of SafeNest, about what information they are looking for and why. Watch in the player above.
