LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A woman is facing Attempted Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder charges after police say a man was stabbed in the back during a meeting to return an allegedly stolen picture of professional boxer Ken Norton.

Heather Lurlene Dahlberg was arrested on Feb. 10 for an incident that happened five days prior inside a Snackers parking lot, according to an arrest report from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

On Feb. 5, police say officers responded to the convenience store on the corner of Valley View Boulevard and Desert Inn Road and found Kyle Mackey with a stab wound on his lower back. He was bleeding and told officers he was in pain, the report says.

Mackey told the police he had been given a picture of Ken Norton by another man and that a woman he knew as Heather Anderson, identified by the department as Dahlberg, said the picture was hers. She accused him of stealing it and demanded it back.

Mackey went on to tell police that she owed him money and originally he told her she would get it back when she paid him, the report shows, but eventually he contacted her to give it back.

The two agreed to meet at the gas station for the exchange.

It was at that meeting that Mackey says he felt a"sharp pain" in his back and stumbled forward as he was walking to her car with the picture. He says two men were behind him, one of them holding a knife.

Police say security footage shows Dahlberg dropping the men off nearby before the incident, and that they entered her car and drove away with her afterward.

Dahlberg told police Mackey had stolen items from her in the past and wanted drugs in exchange for one of the items back.

She says she wanted the men to "beat up" Mackey and told police she did "set up" the beating but did not know Mackey would be stabbed.

Dahlberg is being held at Clark County Detention Center on $76,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 3.
