Mother arrested for allegedly abandoning child on Las Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Police say U.S. Marshals have arrested 26-year-old Mariam Ramos, the woman accused by authorities of abandoning her child at a casino on the Strip, and she is currently awaiting extradition from California to Las Vegas.

Ramos is accused by police of leaving her 3-year-old daughter at the Wynn hotel-casino on Dec. 29, 2020.

PREVIOUS STORIES:

The child was previously reported by police to be in good health and in the care of Child Protective Services.

No other details of Ramos' arrest were immediately available.
