Vegas police release bodycam footage from Spanish Hills burglary, shooting

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police released bodycam video from an early morning shooting that occurred earlier this week in the Spanish Hills community.

Officers shot a man who was attempting to attack two residents with a hammer.

Authorities say it happened on Spanish Heights Drive near Tropicana Avenue and Durango Drive.

The man shot was allegedly burglarizing the house and charged at the two homeowners.

Officers fired six rounds at 40-year-old Nathaniel Sironen, who died at the scene.
