Thanksgiving Day shooters to face charges in Henderson court

HENDERSON (KTNV) — New information about what police call a random Thanksgiving Day shooting.

The two suspects will face prosecution in Nevada.

A criminal complaint has been filed against the two suspects in Henderson Justice Court.

Kayleigh Lewis and Shawn McDonnell are facing 20 charges including open murder.

They are accused of randomly shooting at people in Henderson and in Arizona.

Police say the couple shot five people, killing one of them in Henderson.

The couple and another person were arrested in Arizona.

That's where officers say McDonnell pointed a gun at troopers.

He was shot but survived.
