LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A second man has been arrested for the murder of the person who was found in the desert on March 15 off State Route 147 near the Lake Mead Recreational Area.
At the time of the discovery, it appeared that the body had been there for several days.
25-year-old Antonio Yanez was identified as a suspect early on and arrested on April 13.

47-year-old Jose Garnica was then identified as the second suspect and was arrested on July 18.
He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, open murder, kidnapping in the 1st degree, kidnapping with a deadly weapon, and robbery with a deadly weapon.

The victim was identified as 33-year-old Marcos Madrid. He died from multiple gunshot wounds.
